COM 242 Blog #1 - Intro
Hi! My name is Sarah Acevedo and I am a junior here at University of Tampa (more like in between junior and senior, but I'd like to hold off on the senior title for as long as possible). I'm from Pembroke Pines, Florida, but I usually say I'm from either Fort Lauderdale or Miami since no one knows where Pembroke Pines is. I don't have much experience in digital media; I forgot to mention during our introductions in class but I have used Canva before for different school projects, and if video/photo editing counts, then I've done some of that too. I wouldn't say I'm very experienced, though. However, I am excited to take this class! Most of what I've done on Canva I've enjoyed, so I'm interested to see where this class goes and to see if I'm really passionate about this area of Communications. I also know it will help me in any area I do decide to go into in the future, so I am excited to see what I learn this semester!
